No, Latter-day Saints don't worship Joseph Smith. While we deeply respect him and sing songs like "Praise to the Man" and "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" to commemorate his life, we only worship God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith endured a lot of persecution and other hardships, but he still faithfully served God. Because of him, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been established, and the Book of Mormon and parts of the Bible were translated. Joseph Smith was martyred by an angry mob in Carthage Jail.
